WHO IS BEHIND THE CAMERA?

There’s something about capturing souvenirs of life that gives me immense purpose. I get to share time and space with people with the same intent: to freeze time and encapsulate their life’s unique joys in photos.

I hope to create a photographic treasure chest for you to cherish and look back on for a lifetime.

I’m a wife, a mother to three, a friend, and most importantly, a follower of Jesus. I find that all of those things feed back into photography, which I’m utterly passionate about.

What's your dream vacation?

Born and raised in Manila, Philippines and moved to the US in 2018.

Where are you from?

Worked in Manila and Singapore in the branding and design world.

What you did before photography?

Jeans or leggings and a cute tee all day. #momlife

What's your go-to outfit?

In the morning, quietly reading a book first thing to kick of the day, or reading and cuddling time at night as my kids go to bed.

Favorite part of the day?

My husband, best friend, and teammate for life, Daniel.

Your favorite person?

Having sushi or watching a movie on the couch with my hubby.

Kind of date night?

Living with a tribe of local Nepalese in the mountains for a few days, and moving halfway around the world and leaving everything I knew to marry my man (and having 3 kids right after, all in a span of 6 years!).

Craziest thing you've ever done?

21, with my favorites including Israel, Nepal and Bali.

Number of countries visited?

Not used to being in front of the camera? Don’t fret. I’ll meet you at your comfort level, and I’ll do all the crouching and kneeling to get the money shot. (Unless you want to do wacky, gravity-defying poses, then by all means!)

What will sessions be like, with Lani?

Whatever it is, it will be an easygoing but well-planned, professional session. My desire is to deliver a final product that genuinely feels like you: as a mother, as a couple, as a family, as a brand.

Easy. Straightforward. Light-hearted.

It’s all about bringing out your story, your personality, and your bond with your loved ones to the forefront.

For family portraits with little ones, I’ll be there to play games with them and make it a fun day for them. I’ll run, I’ll crawl, I’ll capture that moment when your kid looks adoringly at you, mommy and daddy.

As a former design communications professional, I’m also offering branding photography. Let’s bring your product or service to life, with versatile photos that you can use for multi-channel assets.
